The Pulsator was a device that when attached to a starship, provided a low-level electrosynaptic pulse.

After learning a great deal about Assembler physiology, Boba Fett found that Assembler tissue could be regenerated using a pulsator, and returned Kud'ar Mub'at and his floating web to life around 4 ABY. Using the Hound's Tooth as a source of energy and parallel dataflow, Fett inserted the end of the pulsator tool (a metal needle) into a knot of ganglia inside the Assembler's skull and reanimated his dead corpse.
