Pummelstaves were melee weapons used by the technophobic Red Knights of Life. They were tubes of wrought iron, and were employed at melee range.^[1]

During the Red Knights' uprising on Rhommamool in 25 ABY, several members of the organization used pummelstaves to wreck a Dressellian's landspeeder beyond repair, advising him to either ride an animal such as a tutakan, or walk as nature intended.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

While "stave" is usually only seen in the plural "staves," it is occasionally used in the singular to mean "a stick, rod, pole, or the like."^[2]
