Qual was a male Selkath Jedi Master from Manaan. He was a member of the Dantooine Jedi Enclave Council during the Great Hunt, but either left the Council or died at some point before the Padawan Massacre of Taris.

Behind the scenesEdit

"Qual" is the German word for torment, an ironic name for a member of the Jedi Council. This, however, was quite possibly a coincidence of which the creators of the character were unaware. It is also possible that his name was derived from the German word "Qualle" (and just only used the first syllable), which means jellyfish in German.
