Quasar was a male Human who served as the captain of a civilian pleasure cruiser. On one voyage near the Merson asteroid field, hostile Merson pirates were spotted nearby and he realized the situation was very serious. Not being experienced in military matters, he called for Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was a passenger aboard the cruiser, to help him handle the situation.
