Quicksand, also known as mucksand,^[1] was a pit of loose or watery sand that would drown unsuspecting victims. There were many pits of quicksand on Kirdo III, and quicksand was also found on Tatooine, Felucia and Tenupe.

One was often advised to avoid quicksand.
