R. A. Salvatore (Born 1959) is an author of two Star Wars and many fantasy novels, most famous for his works related to the Forgotten Realms setting for Dungeons and Dragons. He also was the one who came up with the idea of the Yuuzhan Vong using strictly biotechnology.
