The RC-AD Riot Control Droid was a series of expensive combat units designed to be the heavy security guards of the prison asteroid Oovo IV.

The RC-AD moved using two treads along the sides. Its weapons were simple - two high-powered, high-speed blasters. These blasters were capable of tearing most creatures to parts in seconds.

The armor on an RC-AD was considerable. They were able to withstand excessive small arms fire, and even small explosives would rarely destroy one. The droid had no 'weak' points, and they were highly resistant to a flamethrower and other such weapons.
