Raahan Ma'ase was a male Kel Dor who lived in the city Dor'shan on the planet Dorin during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. He was son of the leader of Dor'shan's largest technology cartel and was a friend of the Jedi Master Plo Koon, whose family had close ties to Ma'ase's family. During the Clone Wars, Ma'ase secretly developed the XNA-580, a device that could be used to scramble the brainwaves of most species. He attempted to sell the machine to the Confederacy of Independent Systems via the Separatist sympathizer Aviso.
