Raan Stasheff was a Human male in the Alliance to Restore the Republic who served as the bodyguard of Sayer Mon Neela during the Galactic Civil War. His grandfather had served in CorSec and his father had served in the Alliance since the time of the Battle of Yavin. When Neela escaped Imperial capture aboard the Imperial Hazard, Stasheff took a blaster shot intended for Neela, but recovered at the Alliance base on Carosi XII.
