The Raid on Talasea was an Imperial attack on the New Republic starfighter squadron Rogue Squadron's base on the planet Talasea.

PreludeEdit

Placed in charge of eliminating Rogue Squadron by former Director of Imperial Intelligence Ysanne Isard, former Imperial Liaison to Corellia Kirtan Loor analyzed the last attacks of the squadron, including the battles of Hensara III and Chorax, and deduced that the Rogue base must be on Talasea.

The battleEdit

Stormtroopers landed on the planet with a Delta-class DX-9 stormtrooper transport. They began the operation by eliminating the six sentinels discreetly before entering the base. Inside, they killed Rogue pilot Lujayne Forge while she was asleep. The rest of the squadron were alerted by Rogue Corran Horn, who felt the attack through the Force, and managed to fight back.

AftermathEdit

After the battle, Admiral Ackbar went himself to oversee the evacuation of the base and to also encourage the remaining Rogues, who were very affected by the death of Forge.
