A rail jet was a hover train that travelled on one single rail and transported ammo, supplies and sometimes troops.

One rail jet transportation system was used during the Clone Wars onboard the battleship Malevolence. Its cars were similar in appearance to the Multi-Troop Transport. Another one was used on Khorm.
