Ramatesh was the capital city of Thisspias. Within the city's alcazar resided the Blood Monarch, the leader of the Thisspiasian people. In 186 BBY, the sister of Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis, Blood Monarch at the time, was assassinated in the city.
