An alcazar existed within Ramatesh, the capital city of Thisspias. The Blood Monarch, the leader of the Thisspiasian people traditionally lived inside the structure.

In 186 BBY, the sister of Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis, Blood Monarch at the time, was assassinated in the alcazar when it was stormed by terrorists.
