Ran Kether was the communications officer for Rogue Squadron during the Zsinj campaign. He flew as Rogue Seven, and his wingmate was Koobis Nu.
Ran was possibly a victim of the Yuuzhan Vong War by insurgents following Viqi Shesh's orders to kidnap Ben Skywalker. According to Shesh, he was killed at the Battle of Kalarba flying a SELCORE transport. She later impersonated his widow, Welda with Dab Hantaq as his son, Tarc. It is unknown if they actually existed.
