The Rapid Recon Walker was a two-legged combat walker in use during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, and the later revolt against the Eternal Empire by the future Eternal Alliance. The walker was armed with a chin-mounted laser cannon as well as two smaller dual laser cannons mounted on either side of the driver compartment.[1]
The walker saw extensive use as a patrol and recon vehicle but was also used as a main combat force for anti-personnel roles.
Many were also modified to bolster heavier weapons and armor, making the walker more able to fight for an extended duration of time and to greater effect.

The Rapid Recon Walker was made available on December 2, 2016 as one of the pre-order rewards for the Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion. Players who held a premium subscription for Star Wars: The Old Republic on November 27, 2016 were given access to the Rapid Recon Walker mount in game.[2]
