Rathalay was a planet in the Mid Rim known for its vast private beaches. The planet exported Rathalayan firestones.
Grand Admiral Grant, as part of his agreement to defect to the New Republic, was allowed to retire to a villa on this world, although Jan Ors kept an eye on him.
The planet was also the base of Kaerobani and the Lumini Pirates: in Kaerobani's den, Mara Jade retrieved a stolen Jedi Holocron and escaped.[2] Many tourists visited the wealthy world. The Solo family took a brief vacation there during the Black Fleet Crisis to try and escape Leia Organa Solo's political responsibilities.
