The ray was a predatory scalefish native to the oceans of Naboo; it was introduced to Ohma-D'un.
The typical ray fish was a long-bodied creature with a large head and wide mouth that dominated much of its body. The mouth could distend to hold its prey. The ray was considered to be a good swimmer, thanks to its powerful, crescent-shaped tail. Gungans and Naboo alike considered the ray an excellent sportfish, because it put up a strong fight and often made spectacular leaps from the water.

Though not one of the animals a player could choose to take to Ohma-D'un in the Mantaris, rays could nonetheless be seen swimming in the oceans of the moon in the city-view setting of Gungan Frontier.
