Rebellion 1: My Brother, My Enemy, Part 1 was the first issue in the Star Wars: Rebellion series of comics.
Seeking to exploit a fatal flaw in the Rebel fleet’s escape strategies, the Empire plants a sleeper agent in the Alliance’s midst and sets into motion a series of events that will have devastating consequences for Luke Skywalker and his companions. Meanwhile, Darth Vader’s own agenda runs counter to the Empire’s schemes, and he’s ensnared Lt. Janek Sunber to carry out a secret mission that will lead the idealistic Imperial officer straight into the heart of the Rebellion.
During the Battle of Keskin, Imperial Lieutenant Janek Sunber remembers his time as a farmboy on Tatooine with his friends Biggs and Luke. He finds it difficult to deal the fact that Luke is a member of the Rebel Alliance. When his forces are ordered to retreat after taking heavy casualties, Sunber faces death many times, but is able to escape with his life. Later, after severely beating up a rebel because he told him it was Skywalker who destroyed the Death Star, Sunber realizes what he must do for the Empire; he must give the information about Luke Skywalker to Darth Vader.
