The Rebellion era, sometimes referred to as the Classic era, takes place between 0 BBY (the Battle of Yavin) and 4 ABY (the Battle of Endor), and into events after the battle.

The events of the Classic Trilogy (Episode IV: A New Hope, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi) take place during this era.
