Rebreather

Rebreathers were an upgrade of the standard Breath Mask that was popular in the years during and after the Jedi Civil War. They were equipment, usually facemasks, that let a species breathe in an atmosphere not suited to their physique. Clone trooper and stormtrooper armor contained rebreathers. A99 aquata breathers were one type of rebreathers. Bacta tanks used another type of rebreather known as a breather line. It had the ability to regulate the oxygen supply of whomever wore it; however, the mask had the drawback of being ill-suited for use by Wookiees.
