Red Squadron was an New Republic starfighter squadron operating after the Battle of Endor. The unit helped defend a Star Tours travel agency StarSpeeder 3000 from Imperial TIE fighters when the civilian vessel accidentally ended up in the midst of Red Squadron's battle to destroy a Death Star-like space station. Though the squadron's leader told Star Tours' pilot, RX-24, to leave the area, the droid joined in the battle.
