Red Sword Flight was a starfighter squadron made up of Jedi pilots flying StealthX fighters, led by Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker. It consisted of three Masters paired with three Knights.

During the Second Galactic Civil War, they were trailing the Anakin Solo using the tracking device planted on Darth Caedus's cape. Upon learning that Caedus was not aboard Anakin Solo but was instead in a cloaked starfighter hovering nearby, they revised their plan and Skywalker went after Caedus.

Skywalker was about to fire the killing blow when he suddenly discovered Allana's—the daughter of Caedus and Hapan Queen Mother Tenel Ka Djo—presence inside with Caedus. Deciding that killing Caedus along with an innocent was not worth it, Skywalker ordered a retreat as the Anakin Solo and a complement of starfighters arrived to Caedus's rescue.
