Around 3 BBY the eldest son of Deej Warrick, Weechee, was given the sacred Red Wings of Courage by Ewok medicine man Logray when Weechee set off from Bright Tree Village with his father, brothers, and the Humans Cindel and Mace Towani in order to rescue the Towanis' parents from a Gorax. The wings comprised a headband with tufts of red feathers on each side. The Red Wings of Courage had once belonged to an ancient and brave Ewok warrior.
