A red pachydermoid species of sentients lived on a planet in the Outer Rim, near the border of Galactic Republic space. They had short trunks which ended in white tendrils, and had a large tusk on each side of this trunk. The species also had large ears and three-fingered hands.[1]
The species was represented in the Galactic Senate from at least the time of the Exar Kun War.[2] Their homeworld was conquered by the Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Wars, before the Battle of Vanquo.[1] After this, at least one member of the species joined the Mandalorian forces, and were present on Taris.[3]

This species first appeared in the comic Tales of the Jedi: The Sith War, published in 1995, as a senator for an unnamed region. It was not seen again until Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic: Flashpoint, published in 2006. Dustin Weaver, penciller for that issue, referenced this obscure species as a fun tie in to the old series.[4]
