The red pearl was a pearl owned by the Underwater Dwellers in a grotto deep under the surface of Sunshine Lake on the Forest Moon of Endor.^[1] The red pearl helped grow food pearls, the main food source of the species.^[2] After the red pearl was destroyed in 3 ABY during a confrontation with the tyrant Orcon, it was replaced by a blue pearl that was even more powerful.^[3]
