Redsprouts were a type of food that could be eaten by members of the human species.[1] During the year 4 BBY,[2] the Spanjaf family ate a meal including redsprouts in their home on the planet Lothal. During the meal, Gandr and Jessa Spanjaf spoke with their daughter Merei about her dropping grades at the Vocational School for Institutional Security while she served herself a second portion of redsprouts using tongs.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Redsprout first appeared in Servants of the Empire: Imperial Justice, which was written by Jason Fry as the third entry in the Servants of the Empire series of canon junior novels[1] and released on July 7, 2015.[3]
