Regina Cayli was a M-class Imperial Attack Transport in service to the Imperial Customs. The Cayli was on active duty in the New Bakstre system and was tasked to secure the smuggler vessel Dorion Discus on ground, when customs cruisers forced down the freighter.

DescriptionEdit

The landing ramp of the ship led to the cargo bay, which was big enough to hold two landspeeders. This level of the ship was called Transport Deck. Several grav tubes connected it the the upper level, the Command Deck, on which was located among others the transport's infirmary, Room B12.^[1]

Unusually, the escape pods of this vessel were located on the top of the ship.^[1]

HistoryEdit

When the smuggling vessel Dorion Discus was forced to crashland on the planet of New Bakstre by Imperial Customs cruisers, the Regina Cayli landed on the planet. The transport's complement of stormtroopers — which contained Squad Four and Five — searched the forest near the crash site and captured Hawk Carrow, the tramp freighter's co-pilot. Roark Garnet, the captain of the Dorion Discus, had better luck evading the patrols, but he decided to rescue Carrow and infiltrated Regina Cayli through the open and unguarded landing ramp. He got to the Imperial transport's infirmary and managed to rescue his co-pilot^[1].
