The Regulator X-Q2 System Patrol Cruiser, also known as the Regulator, was a scout starship manufactured by Loronar Corporation.
The Regulator X-Q2 was one-hundred-and-fifty meters in length, and could transport up to fifteen troopers and five hundred metric tons of cargo. The vessel required a crew of nine to operate, with five of those onboard serving as gunners for the ship's laser cannons. As with the IPV-1 system patrol craft, the Regulator was not equipped with a hyperdrive.
They were used to patrol spaces that were already pacified.
Two of the vessels served in the Battle of Bissillirus at the Bissillirus Resupply Base.
Behind the scenes[]
The X-Q2 appears in West End Games Star Wars Gamemaster Kit.
In the adventure Return to Bundim, one of the suggested actions is to capture an X-Q2 and use it to run the blockade at Bundim.
