The Republic Army Research Division was a division of the Republic Army that was worked on scientific research and advancements. When a cache of weapons in Hazard Vault 451 in the Balmorran Arms Factory on the planet Balmorra was uncovered by Havoc Squad and Tanno Vik, the Havoc CO chose to have the cache delivered to the Balmorran people rather than the Research Divison.
