Republic Domestic Security, or RDS, was a domestic law enforcement agency that reported directly to the Galactic Republic's Office of the Supreme Chancellor.

HistoryEdit

This law enforcement agency was active during the time of the Clone Wars and was notably separate from the Coruscant Security Force and the other civilian police agencies that had operated on the galactic capital of Coruscant. The RDS instead reported directly to the Chancellor and was charged with ensuring the safety as well as the security of the Republic's closest secrets. This jurisdiction covered governmental, military and civilian beings who were acting in a way that might have brought harm to the Galactic Republic.

During the last years of the war, the RDS arrested Republic Treasury Audit Division Agent Jilka Zan Zentis for illegally copying and removing data from Treasury computers.
