The Republic Special Tactics was an elite military unit within the Galactic Republic's armed forces. Troopers of this unit served as a part of the Republic Outland Regions Security Force during the Second Battle of Zonama Sekot in 29 BBY.^[1] This unit served as the basis for the special forces units of both the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire.^[source?]
