Repulsorcarts or repulsor carts, short for repulsorlift carts, were devices which could be loaded with various objects and then used to transport them. They used repulsors to elevate themselves off the ground and would go into standby mode if not moved often enough which would result in the cart stopping. An eldery Chadra-Fan used a repulsorcart which was in a poor state of repair to transport her luggage while traveling through Grand Terminal spaceport on the planet Junction. The cart's repulsors needed maintenance and regularly gave out, causing the device to drop to the floor. Whilst in the station the Chadra-Fan attempted to ascend a large set of stairs, resulting in the cart emitting a whining noise and then ceasing to work entirely two thirds of the way up the stairs.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

A repulsorcart appeared in the 2003 Star Wars Roleplaying Game adventure Zygerrian Takedown which was released online by Wizards of the Coast and designed by Jason Fry. The adventure suggests that players could rent repulsorcarts and use them to transport a stunned courier that they need to capture, although players are free to use any method to try and subdue and move their target. A distraction for the heroes is later described involving a struggling elderly Chadra-Fan whom they can aid, although they are free to ignore her entirely.
