Kenobi instructs the Initiates not to attempt a rescue

"We go to Florrum, Let the engine cools and rescue Ahsoka"

After being attacked by Ohnaka and his pirates[5], the younglings were stranded and alone in the deep space.[1] Jedi Initiate Katooni was able to contacts Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Kenobi hailed the younglings and promised[1] to send Commander Cody[6] to first pick up the younglings. However, Kenobi suffered a surprise attack by Confederate General Grievous[1] and Kenobi was defeated[2]. Meanwhile, the younglings decided to disobey Kenobi's orders to stay where they were and went to Florrum in order to rescue Tano on their own.[1]

The missionEdit

The InfiltrationEdit

"Oh no."
―Ahsoka Tano, upon recognizing the disguised Jedi Initiates[src]

Upon landing on Florrum, the Younglings except Ganodi set off their way towards the pirate base. On their way through the Florrum wastelands, the younglings happened to come across a traveling carnival troupe en route to Ohnaka's base to business. Petro saw an opportunity, claimed that he and the younglings[1] were junior acrobats[6] and they managed to disguide as acrobats. Preigo then took them to the pirate base with the rest of his acrobats. When Preigo's troupe arrived later in the evening, Ohnaka joined the expectant audience under the company of Tano.

The Younglings infiltrated the Ohnaka's base as acrobats

The younglings appeared before Ohnaka, disguised, performed an entry act and finally get a drunken Ohnaka to join in on the next stunt. Unnoticed, Katooni stole Tano's lightsabers and freed Tano. But as the younglings ran, they were recognized by the pirates and taken under fire, but they managed to steal[1] one of the WLO-5 speeder tank[6] and made their way to the Crucible. As the Jedi head back to their ship, Petro contacted Ganodi to ready the ship for an immediate takeoff[1], however, the pirates began to pursuit them across the wasteland.[2]

Pirates' pursuitEdit

While Tano and the younglings were returning[2] to the Crucible[1], a team of Ohnaka's Weequay pirates led by Gwarm[1] inside a WLO-5 speeder tank begun to pursuit them across the wasteland. After some frantic attempts, Petro finally managed to contacts R2-D2 and Ganodi aboard the Crucible, who had just restored Huyang[2] to an operative state[7] once more. Ganodi, R2-D2 and Huyang set off to aid their comrades at once, and attempted to pick them up in mid-run via the cruiser's boarding ramp. But in the midst of the evac attempt, their speeder raced to a ravine, forcing Petro to turn about, left Byph and Gungi to hang precariously from the ramp. During a second attempt, however, the pirates managed to hit the cruiser's engines critically, forcing an immediate evacuation of the Crucible before it crashed down on the Florrum plains. As the ship was shot down, Tano and the Younglings were captured by the pirates.[2]

After the Crucible crashed, Tano and the younglings were recaptured by the pirates. While Gwarm and his pirates returning to the their outpost[2], General Grievous, after defeating Obi-Wan Kenobi[1] who the Younglings had been calling for help[5], landed on Florrum and prepared to defeat Ohnaka's pirate gang and conquer the planet.[2] The Separatists sought revenge on Ohnaka[7], because he had held Dooku, head of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, for ransom.[8]
