The Rethin Sea was the name of the liquid rethin metal core of the gas giant Bespin^[1]. During the Trioculus affair, the Empire constructed a factory barge above the sea to harvest metals and Tibanna gas and produce material. A by-product of the factory was braze (a contraction of "brown haze"), which heavily polluted Bespin's atmosphere.
