Reuss VIII was a planet in Portmoak sector. It was an agriworld of the Galactic Republic, but under the Empire became a polluted industrial world. Torel Vorne was the most powerful crime lord on the planet.
The atmosphere of the planet was full of toxins and acid rain from the industrial plants. Prolonged exposure to the atmosphere without a breath mask could cause permanent lung damage.
Medical Supervisor Sena Pakkallo served there briefly, providing hygiene instruction to locals.[2]
