Rica was the grandson of Gueni, who lead the Daan faction of the ongoing Melida/Daan Civil War in 44 BBY. A member of the Young, Rica fought alongside other like-minded youths to end the war, which had been fought between the Melida and Daan for so long that neither side could remember the initial cause.

Behind the scenesEdit

Rica was briefly mentioned in the fifth novel of the Jedi Apprentice young readers series, The Defenders of the Dead (1999) by Jude Watson.
