William Thomas Riker was a Starfleet officer. He was formerly the executive officer of the Federation starships U.S.S. Enterprise-D and -E before becoming a Captain himself. During his service on the Enterprise-E, Riker was, along with his ship, somehow transported into a galaxy far, far away where he found a new enemy to fight: the Galactic Empire.

William Riker is one of the main characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation. In the "Mirror Mirror" article published in InQuest Gamer 39, Wizard Entertainment gave an explanation for the Star Trek and Star Wars universes being joined together so that CCG players could use the two systems together.
