Rise of the Cortosis Battle Droids

The event known as the Rise of the Cortosis Battle Droids occurred when the Confederacy of Independent Systems began to manufacture Battle droids with cortosis, a lightsaber-resistant substance. The event ended with the destruction of the Cortosis battle droid factory on Metalorn.
