Ritor was an Imperial nobleman who possessed expertise in the administration of interrogation facilities. When Ilm-Vaz Weplinn, an Assistant-Deputy Viceprex in the Corporate Sector Authority's Security Division, proposed a collaboration between the Security Division and the Imperial Correctional Facilities Ministry on the Stars' End project to Lady Chawkroft, she responded to his proposal with a list of requirements that such a prison would entail. One of these necessities would be a fully staffed interrogation facility. To fulfill this requirement, Chawkroft suggested to Vaz-Weplinn that he could contact Lord Ritor if he needed any help in determining the specific needs of such a facility.
