Rivi-Anu was a Jedi Knight and a General in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars.

During a battle on an unspecified planet during the Outer Rim Sieges, she fought alongside Ki-Adi-Mundi and several other Jedi.
When the Separatists shot down a Republic Venator-class Star Destroyer, which was part of an atmospheric battle, it plunged towards the heart of its own forces on the surface.
Rivi-Anu showed an incredible display of Force power by "holding" the ship mere yards from the ground. Due to her timely action, Ki-Adi-Mundi and his troops had enough time to clear the area as the ship loomed above them. Unfortunately, the strain, adding to a blaster wound she had already sustained, proved too much for her and she died as the huge starship crashed on top of her.
Ki-Adi-Mundi and the others mourned her loss. Ki-Adi looked forward to a time he would meet her again as part of the Living Force. This meeting would perhaps come sooner than he expected, as he was assigned to Mygeeto directly afterwards. There he fell victim to his own Galactic Marines, who followed Order 66 to the letter.
