Biography
Edit
During the war, Robonino teamed up with Bossk, but their ship fell apart and they were found by the Black Hole Pirates. Robonino and Bossk then joined up with the pirates. While Bossk found himself an outcast in the gang, Robonino became a respected hacker and earned himself a place on the team.

To see how "solitary types" like Robonino, Shahan Alama and Aurra Sing would work together, Bane set them on a test mission to capture bounty hunter Davtokk on the planet Keyorin. Davtokk attempted to take out Bane to collect the bounty on his head, but was relatively easily overcome by Bane's team.[4] Pleased with their performance, Bane moved the team to Coruscant to prepare for an operation to liberate Ziro Desilijic Tiure from Republic incarceration.[3]
During the Senate hostage crisis, Robonino sabotaged the power distribution network of the Senate Building from the control room. He triggered the emergency lock-down in the Republic Executive Building, which allowed Bane to execute the rest of his plan. Robonino was also able to single-handedly defeat Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker by grabbing him from behind and electrocuting him while the Jedi fought Shahan Alama and Aurra Sing. After the Hutt crime lord was freed, Robonino left the crime scene along with the rest of the group.[3]
Once he left, Robonino later ended up on Rodia, where he had modified leftover battle droids to cover his path and hide his hideout, which was an underwater hub. Due to this, it caused the local wildlife to die, giving reason for Senator Onaconda Farr to summon Jedi General Kit Fisto to sort out the situation. In the ensuing skirmish, Robonino briefly battled and defeated Fisto, but was apparently swallowed by a Kwazel Maw. He was later regurgitated, alive and well, on shore where Fisto, Farr and surviving clone troopers were waiting for him.
He later escaped, allowing the thug to be hired by Count Dooku along with another hired gun to get senators to change their minds about a bill that threatens the people lives through some force. They targeted many senators whose vote was to oppose the bill which brought the bill a greater chance of being approved. In a bar at Coruscant, Count Dooku would again send the two bounty hunters to seize Padmé Amidala to prevent her from influencing other senators' thoughts. Even though they failed on this mission, they would attack Senator Organa. Only to fail and get arrested, the senator from Naboo would still be able to turn the tide against the bill.
Personality and traits
Edit

Robonino was an expert saboteur, skilled at handling explosives allowing him to battle Skywalker and Kit Fisto and come out victorious.[3]
Behind the scenes
Edit
Robonino's look was based on an unused prequel Jedi design by Iain McCaig. He was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.[5]
The text on Robonino's backpack reads "PATSFAN-01" in Aurebesh.[5]
