  • A brief change of scene: Gary the stormtrooper is slow to wake up in the mornings.

  • Right after Palpatine has succeeded in converting Anakin to the dark side, he realizes the state his face is in
  • Master Poof returns with his load of pizza to find the Jedi Temple raided, and decides to make up for lost opportunities on his time with the Council.
  • Just after Anakin has been recovered from his battle on Mustafar, he makes demands on his life support suit's get-up, only to discover (after disco-dancing with stormtroopers and Grand Moff Tarkin) that all that stuff he ordered is more fancy than useful (as he tries to figure how to go to the refresher).
  • When Darth Vader asks Palpatine about the emergency orders coming before Order 66, Palpatine provides a less-than-comprehensive listing of orders pertaining to how to make life miserable for anyone else in the Star Wars continuity.
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi uses his Force Suggestion ability to assure himself of his own sex appeal.
  • With one elevator taken by a spiteful stormtrooper and the other filled to the brim with Quarrens, Palpatine is forced to use the escalator, and as passing stormtroopers continue to hail him, he gets all the more riled up.
  • Aunt Beru turns down a fire-insurance salesman at her door.
  • Palpatine and Darth Vader talk about the Great Jedi Purge in the Death Star cantina where Yarael Poof has found an insecure refuge as a cook.
  • Gary the stormtrooper fills in for the Death Star's driver and nearly ends up causing a disaster.
  • Boba Fett attempts to elaborate on why he is the "most interesting bounty hunter in the galaxy."
  • As Owen Lars buys C-3PO from the Jawas, he asks the droid about the only one language out of over 6 million which has given 3PO severe trauma during its study: Spanish.
  • The true nature of R5-D4's "bad motivator unit" is revealed.
  • The visit of stormtroopers Gary and Carl at the Lars homestead in their search of C-3PO and R2-D2 begins quite amicably, but turns into a catastrophe as Gary accidentally produces a bathroom fire.

  • When Yoda tests Luke on Dagobah, he becomes acutely aware of his own linguistic limitations.
  • LEGO Star Wars: Lando Calrissian discovers the advantages of a head mounted back on the wrong way.
  • This sketch reveals a new side of the grim-faced Weequay Skiff Master, and the true causes for Boba Fett's failure and Jabba's death at the Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon.
  • On his way from Hoth to the Dagobah system, Luke has a depressing encounter with an old acquaintance at a refueling stop.
  • Boba Fett strangely appears triumphant at the Skirmish at Carkoon, only to find out that it has all been just a fanciful dream and he is still stuck in the Sarlacc.
  • An incautious statement by a half-delirious Luke hanging from Cloud City's underside earns him a rebuff from Lando, who has just arrived to rescue him.
  • Max Rebo emerges from the wreckage of Jabba's sail barge and discovers that an important job appointment has been passed to someone else.
  • During the planning session for the attack on the second Death Star, Orrimaarko (a.k.a. Prune Face) introduces himself to the Rebel Alliance in an over-glorifying light, until he admits he is only a repair man.
  • Lost in the desert, Chewbacca slowly gets some cannibalistic designs on Admiral Gial Ackbar.
  • On Endor, a biker scout loans Gary the stormtrooper a ride on his speeder bike. Gary ends up running over an Ewok and panickedly trying to end the poor creature's agony.
  • Palpatine tortures Luke with Force lightning while Darth Vader watches, each of them entertaining their own distracted thoughts.
  • The follow-up on the pre-opening sequence: Palpatine finally realizes the true meaning of life and tries to make the best of his situation before he slams onto the windshield of the Millennium Falcon and ends up a frozen naked corpse in space.

Robot Chicken credits sequence

  • Final sketch I: In the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, Darth Vader awakens very much alive on his own burning funeral pyre; Chewbacca regains the use of his proper language; and the depiction of Obi-Wan, Yoda, Anakin and Palpatine's view of the victory celebration as Force ghosts.
  • Final sketch II: Boba Fett and the Weequay Skiff Master get evicted from the Sarlacc and take over Jabba's palace band.

Behind the scenes[]

Co-Creator Seth Green had stated and confirmed that a third installment of the Robot Chicken: Star Wars series was being written and focused on in an online blog on his official website. Sketches and clips were said to include past ideas that did not make the final product in the first two spoofs, and some new material. In an interview at Celebration V, creators Seth Green and Matt Senreich revealed some plot details about the upcoming special. According to Green, the plot will tell "more of a linear story this time that covers the series from start to finish." Senreich states that it will provide an opportunity to "see [the Star Wars universe] through the eyes of our Robot Chicken: Star Wars Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Gary the stormtrooper" and "get a unique perspective from the bad-guy side, from people who just want to rule the universe."

Green added, "We also have a really funny Vader first day in his suit, figuring out how to go to the bathroom skit in the new special. He's clicking all the buttons on his suit trying to figure out where the thermal exhaust port is." He also mentioned a sketch with Orrimaarko, a.k.a. "Prune Face," will be featured.

Unlike the past two specials, this special was announced to be an hour long.[2]
