Rockhopper

The rockhopper was a bipedal riding animal with a horse-like face and mane, short forelimbs, and a long, thick tail to maintain balance. They were found on Roon, where they were ridden in the Drainsweeper event of the Roon Colonial Games; they were also found on Biitu, where Mungo Baobab rode one.

Their appearance was similar to that of Cracian thumpers, perhaps suggesting a common descent--quite plausible, since the rockhoppers were known not to be truly indigenous to Roon.
