Rodian eels were creatures, presumably from Rodia, kept as food. The kitchen of Darkside was stocked with Rodian eel at one point.

The Darkside kitchen also had skinned mynocks and ground wampa meat—creatures not generally considered food animals—so it is possible that Rodian eel was also not typically regarded as food.
