Rodin Higron was a male Corellian gambler-turned-pirate who operated during the Galactic Civil War. His base of operations was located on the world of Oasis, in The Maelstrom.

BiographyEdit

Born on Corellia, Higron was a crafty gambler that often cheated to win. In one particularly crooked game of sabacc, Higron won sole ownership of the planet Oasis. Checking on his recent acquisition, Higron was pleased to discover that it was a plentiful source of oxite. While scoping the planet, Higron encountered the Riders of the Maelstrom, a notorious pirate gang that operated in the Maelstrom. Realizing that the pirate business would be a greater source of profit, Higron began his own group of pirates and set up operations on Oasis.

Because of Higron's sympathy toward the side of the Rebel Alliance, Higron's band only attacked Imperial ships. An unfortunate side effect of this action was that Imperial forces began to tighten their grip on the sector causing a more hazardous operation for the pirate gangs. The leader of the Riders, Big Jak Targrim became particularly furious with Higron for disrupting their profitable business and tried to crash the Kuari Princess into Higron's base of operations. Luckily, a small group of Rebel agents was able to foil Targrim's plan and save Higron's operation.
