HistoryEdit

It was a haven for criminals and villains until the tyrant Roy Teda was deposed by the Jedi in 25 BBY.

Roy Teda divided the impoverished planet into two parts with the poor being shut out from the wealthy section of Romin by massive walls. He opened up the banks and borders of the planet to criminals to personally enrich himself.

Eventually, Anakin Skywalker along with Ferus Olin, Siri Tachi, and Obi-Wan Kenobi aided the revolution that overthrew Roy Teda.

The planet was home to the Force-sensitive twins, Eldewn and Elsae Sarvool. At age 9, they were orphaned when their parents were killed in an assassination ordered by a local crime lord. Due to their Force-sensitivity, they were scheduled to go to Coruscant, but ended up back on Romin when their transport was also targeted by the gangster.
