Ron Cobb is a conceptual artist who worked on creature design for A New Hope. Several of his notable creations appear in the Mos Eisley cantina sequence.

One of his designs, the long-necked Ithorian, lead to his name being used for that of an Ithorian Jedi Master - Roron Corobb - in the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series.
