The Royal cannon was a deployable heavy weapon employed by the Royal Naboo Security Forces. It traveled on the battlefield in a compact egg-shaped configuration, moving on a tripod of repulsor pads. For firing, the cannon was raised up off the tripod, splitting the main structure into three panels.

The royal cannon first appeared in the 2001 game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds[1] and was also used in the expansion pack Clone Campaigns released in 2003.[2]
