The Royal med droid was a model of medical droid used by the Royal Naboo Security Forces. The healers had feminine voices with a synthesized edge.

One such med droid accompanied Queen Padmé Amidala and the Naboo Resistance as they traversed the swamps to meet Boss Rugor Nass in the Sacred Place. The med droid's healing allowed all members of the expedition to survive the occasional encounters with OOM-9's battle droid scouts.

Like all the "good guys'" medical droids, the Royal med units were friendly, eager, and focused on minimal pain, in contrast to the sadistic droids of the enemy.
