Ruati was a Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic as a General in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars.

BiographyEdit

A Force-sensitive being, Ruati was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, obtaining the rank of Jedi Master. When the Clone Wars erupted between the Galactic Senate and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Ruati took up the rank of General in the Grand Army of the Republic as the Order was thrust into the military.^[1]

During the second year of the war, Master Ruati was dispatched to the planet of Nauton IV where he was decapitated with a lightsaber by an unknown assassin. Coupled with other evidence, Ruati's death led Master Obi-Wan Kenobi to conclude that the Confederate Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress was still alive, despite reports that she had been killed in a confrontation with Kenobi's Padawan, Anakin Skywalker. Kenobi's hunt for the woman eventually gained momentum, successfully finding her during the following year.^[2]
